I''m torn.
But first a little background: My e-ring is a Scott Kay and the matching band is totally way out of our budget, so I went by myself to look at bands on my lunch break one day and found 3 contenders that were much closer to what we were anticipating.
FH and I went back to saturday so i could show him the rings that I did like, and then we narrowed it down to 2. There was one that was under 1000 and the other was about 1200. when we left the store he said that if we went with the one under 1000 then I could pick something else out too b/c he has to have a minimum 1000 purchase in order to get 12 months no interest. Of course i like the ring that is already 1200 just a smidge more, but the draw of more sparkly is also very strong..ah! decisions, decisions!

Do you mind posting some pics? Maybe we can help you decide which one to get.

Unfortunately, I don''t have any pics

, they were store specific, so no pics allowed. The only thing that makes me like the more expensive one is that it matches my ring a little better.

JMHO, but I''d choose the wedding band that you like more (the $1200). If it matches your ering better, that''s what I''d stick with. I love new jewelery and I know it can be tempting, but I wouldn''t finance more than you have to when you''re starting your marriage, even if it is interest free. HTH!! =)

I think you should also go with the one you like better..

Definitely go with the one you like better! It''s only a $200 price difference.

Hi. I''d go with the one you like better. I can''t tell you how many times I''ve settled for the cheaper item. Then I end up disliking it, changing it in for something else costing me more money in the end.

Me too!!!! I just put this philosophy into place today when I ordered a $100 veil!

Thanks everyone for your thoughts! I think I will go ahead and get the one that matches better. I really don''t need any more sparklies...for now...besides, this will just force him to get creative for the actual wedding day.

Kimberlina, I think you''re right about getting the one you like better. Nothing can take the place of your wedding ring so I think it''s certainly worth the extra money since it will last a lifetime.
