in public at one time.? this includes all pieces from head to toe.

DF, where do you dig up these questions????

OK--I'll play. At once?

ering
wedding band
watch
earrings-hole 1
earrings-hole 2
necklace
bracelet
right hand ring
toe ring (summer)

Total: 9

But if I have big earrings on, I don't do a necklace...or if it's a big rhr, no bracelet. So, the above scenario would entail all smaller pieces vs. bold ones.

Mine would be

Ering
wedding band
RH ring
pinkie ring
necklace
2 pairs of earrings in each ear
two bracelets
watch
ankle bracelet
toe ring

Until very recently when I took several pierciings out I wore:

3 sets of CBRs
2 tongue rings
2 labrets (usually one piece that went through both holes)
a navel ring
my e ring, promise band and occasionally my w-band ;)

As of this past two weeks--
One set of very short 10g barbells in my first set of holes
one tongue ring
e-ring and occasionally w-band

This is fun:

Diamond eternity band
ering
Pink sapphire rhr
diamond studs
diamond watch
diamond heart necklace

pear shaped diamond E-ring
7 stone wedding band
pear diamond stud earrings
pear diamond and sapphire pendant
Tiffany's sterling buckle bracelet
sapphire and diamond RHR
el cheapo watch of the moment.

hehe - do the male models feed you grapes too? Cuz unless they do, they're not worth it. ;-)

Hmmm - most jewelry at one time would be:
engagement ring
wedding band
right hand ring
bracelet
necklace with diamond heart pendant
2 pairs of earrings
2 toe rings
watch

Come to think of it, I wear all that every day, with the exceptions of the watch and the RHR..
10.gif

I''m a total minimalist. . .

one set of earrings
one necklace
eng. ring
wedding band
possibly RHR

I just wear my thin channel set semi-eternity christmas rhr and
my amethyst and diamond anniversary rhr on the same finger.

All my other jewellery was stolen, but I like wearing just these 2 pieces anyway, in a strange way it emphasises them.

Do I win the minimalist prize?

Ummm, pardon my ignorance, but what is a CBR and a labret? Something else I need to buy?

Let me say that this was when I went through my I hate living in the twilight zone phase and lost my mind for about six months, then I realized that putting on stuff irked me more then my parents....why are they always right?

Three earring in each each ear and two more in the right, the little flap and at the top.
A cross necklace and a choker.
My toy story watch (hey in 8th grade Woody was "kool")
titanuim thumb ring
promise ring from then bf
bracelet from then bf
14- if you count earrings as two, other wise 11
Looking back on it I must have looked quite odd with all that crap on. Since then, I wear a necklace either my locket or my cross daily, either pearl or diamond studs, my Breitling, and one of my rings from Jeffery. Some times I skip the necklace and ring. But I cant not wear earrings becuase even after almost 15 years of having them peirced they will close up over night.
38.gif
So most days 4 peices of jewlery.

I love this question! This co-worker is constantly making fun of me because he says I wear too much jewelery so I was wondering how much is too much bling?

4 earrings (diamond studs in my second holes and whatever pair of earrings I chose to wear that day)
4 Rings (Wear them everyday, never take them off) 2 on each hand
Silver Tiffany Bracelet
Pink Breast Cancer Bracelet(u know those rubber ones everyone has)
Watch
Necklace

10-12 per day.

That''s about it. Oh god am I gaudy?

Love it Jennifer.
And you shouldn''t be walking; NO woman should!

earrings
necklace with pendant
e-ring and wedding band on left hand
possibly a RHR or plain platinum wedding band on right hand
watch
bracelet

Right this minute, just home from work:

3 bracelets ( 1 diamond tennis, one three color gold and one gold)
watch
1 pr earrings (princess cut diamonds)
necklace (3 stone diamond)
ering
wedding ring
rh sapphire and diamond ring
ankle bracelet
( and when it''s warm- gold toe ring)

Always:
earrings -- normally studs, dressier drops for evening

Usually:
ering
Anniversary band
Rolex watch

Sometimes:
one of several RHRs
one of several necklaces

Almost never:
one of several bracelets. Maybe only for black tie events when I don't wear a watch.

The most at anyone time: 6 pieces, but that's a BIG day...

All in all...love the bling, but minimal in style. Choice is fun

Noobie

A labrete is a piercing just underneath your bottom lip, above your chin. I had one for a while with a tiny diamond and it looked really sexy, but I had to take it out for a weekend business trip and the hole closed.

Not sure wht a CBR is though.

This is a COOL thread! LOL
In days gone by, I absolutely hated women that wore too much jewelry at once. I used to find it quite tacky and for years I''d wear nothing except for a watch and my wedding band or my great-aunts pearl engagement ring when I was single.
I feel a little different about jewelry now, I guess it comes with the onset of age maybe. I''m still a minimalist on a daily basis, limiting myself to a watch, the wedding band and maybe 2 rings (I love my eye-candy!) but last Christmas I went all out! I guess it was the most jewelry I ever wore at a time, so here goes:

wedding band
2 rings
bracelet
earrings
pendant
pin

Total: 7 pieces

I guess it could have been worse but I still felt more ornate than a Christmas tree! LOL

gemnut

When I go out I always wear:
At least one ring on each hand.
A watch (Depending on where I'm going, a Rolex 18K yellow gold President with a diamond bezel & face or a Piaget with a lapis face and a diamond and blue sapphire halo or an 18K yellow gold Corum with a diamond halo or a Movado with a diamond watchband and emerald cut diamonds around the face)
Diamond stud earrings (1.12 carats per ear). If I'm going to a special event, I'll wear diamond drop earrings.
Either a tennis bracelet (10 ctw) or a diamond and sapphire bangle
Either a pendant or a diamond "line" necklace (12 ctw), sometimes with an opera-length pearl necklace (each pearl is 9.5 mm)

CBR is a captive bead ring. Usually stainless steel of various guages that goes in a piercing and is secured in one spot by a little ball that pops in between the ring ends, think Tension setting though in place of a diamond its a little ball.

A Labret is a flat-backed "earring" that goes in your lip, below your chin.

OK, I have to think about this one...

E-ring

Diamond/Sapphire bar set for right hand middle finger or left hand index finger (when I wear the pave ring) (Did I tell you I found it???
36.gif
)

Pave ring on RH middle finger

SS bracelet that never leaves my body (sentimental reasons)

Watch

That''s pretty much it in a nutshell.

On a normal day I wear my e-ring, but I leave it at home when I go to yoga, and virgin bracelet (for those of you that don''t know it''s usually two black flexible bracelets entwined).

I used to have 7 piercings in my ears, a belly button ring, and a tongue ring but I took them all out and now only the first holes in my ears are open.

If I actually plan on going somewhere I add my star necklace that JP got me for xmas from Bailey Banks & Biddle. When I worked I wore a funky watch that is wide to cover the tattoo on the inside of my wrist.

I''m so boring, I know
1.gif

Hmmm. Well I wear my wedding ring anywhere, but the ering only comes out when I''m going out somewhere fun - with the girls, to a dinner, a lunch, out with family, etc. Just going to the store or to run errands and I leave it at home. I don''t wear it around the house either. As far as other jewelry goes, not much really. I just don''t own anything all that nice outside of my wedding rings! I have a small pair of diamond hoop earrings that my grandma gave me years ago. The quality of the diamonds are horrendous, but they sparkle sometimes if they are really clean, plus they have alot of sentimental value to me, so I wear them sometimes. Usually though, I wear a pair of earrings and a bracelet or something, sometimes a necklace, depending on the outfit.

Now, what I''d LIKE to be wearing everyday is another story!! I would LIKE to wear a diamond tennis bracelet, a pair of real diamond hoop earrings, a diamond eternity band on my right hand and maybe a sapphire and diamond pendant around my neck. But that isn''t going to happen for years!! So for now, I actually have a list typed up of all the things I hope to own one day!! whenever I get a good idea, I just add it to the list. I figure when I am in my 40''s and 50''s I will finally be blinged out!!
9.gif

I wear my
1. e-ring on my right hand
2 either a five stone diamond band ring (small) that my parents gave me or a diamond/sapphire band ring fi gave me on my middle finger or my right hand (I switch off)
3. A silver bracelet on my right arm
4. always a necklace
5. always earrings.

That''s it!

The most I have EVER worn? Gosh when I was younger (high school/early college) I wore every day a ring (sometimes two...)on every finger (not thumbs), a toe ring on each second toe, several ankle and wrist bracelets, a gold cross pendant, a huge guess watch on my left wrist and HUGE silver hoops in BOTH piercings on my ears! Man I wore those hoops everywhere, school, shower, gym, but this was back in the early 90s so they matched my big big hair

Usually I wear my e-ring (or my fake one at work) and belly ring, and some type of necklace, bracelet, watch, earrings and right hand ring almost daily if I am not running late for work and remember to put it on!!!

I try to mix and match for variety and to match my outfit or the occasion. I also try to mix the style jewelry. For instance, if I am wearing my tennis bracelet I may wear a plain silver designed right hand ring instead of my usual diamond/topaz RHR. Or if I am wearing my diamond studs and pendant I may wear a Tiffany bracelet thats all silver. I dont want to be "diamond encrusted" from head to toe at any one moment because the surrounding town where I work is not all that safe, and I also dont want people to think I am "showing off". Plus I like semi- minimalism! I try to keep the pieces I buy simple and classic so if I do choose to pile it on its still not over the top.
