bean - can you tell me where you got these? I did a google search and I'm not coming up w/ anything..
I have the plastic discs but all my earrings have super-short posts - I wanna try these oversized soft backs!
ETA: never mind, a search for earnuts instead of earring backs does the trick

The plastic ones can make your ears unhappy though, at least mine. So the large metal ones are good for me. The plastic ones show a smidge on small earlobes too, like mine.
