where could I find high quality gemstone studs?

I wouldn''t want to spend a whole lot, but I wouldn''t want to buy maul crap either. They don''t have to be big, I can''t wear more than 3 or 4 mm on my ears. To be quite honest I can''t afford the diamond ones I want and I''m tired of wearing rhinestones.

I''d be thrilled to have some gemstone ones, obviously no rubies or anything really rare, but I don''t know where to look and I don''t know enough about colored stones to feel comfortable buying on ebay. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Imho, these ones from Sally on etsy look really pretty - she can do WG, but I think she may charge a slight premium as its harder for her to get there - I'd ask though, seeing as its so lil gold she may not charge extra?
And they can also be custom made with whatever stone you want..I personally love the YG ones , I'm sure they will make it onto my "wanted gift" list pretty soon, lol..
They cost ~$160, depending on the gem - is that more than you wanted to pay?
I just love the little details on the posts and backs, I think it makes them special
