Where did you end up buying your Rolex?

Hey All!

New to the watch world... The nicest watch I own is a Michele, and I stopped wearing it a couple of years ago, just feel like I have outgrown it. So I am in the research and information gathering stage of acquiring a Rolex- my 15 Year Anniversary is next year, and I am thinking this is what I want in celebration... We tried to play the Rolex game last year for my Husband and he just got so annoyed at "the game" that he gave up and bought a Cartier... he wasn't open to second hand- I, on the other hand am open to second hand Rolex's, however, trying to figure out where to look? I am thinking of a two tone Rolex Datejust, 31mm. Any Thoughts? Advice for a watch Newbie?

HI:

I bought two Rolexes from different AD's--in Canada. New. I didn't consider buying on the secondary market--as I felt I didn't have enough experience to do so.

That said, I do follow European Watch Company online and they seem like a reputable source. https://www.europeanwatch.com/

cheers--Sharon

HI:

Authorized Dealer. :wavey:

I don't know if you would consider this, but do you live near a big Canadian city? I suspect you are in the US and perhaps you would consider visiting here to buy as your dollar exchange is very favorable. I would inquire before travelling, but worth the research.

@TruLuv858 I live in southern CA and close to Fashionphile corporate store. When I was shopping for my Omega watch, they had a brand new with box, papers, etc. I was able to preview it before buying. I met with their on-site gemologist who inspected the watch and ran the serial numbers through Omega to verify authenticity. I saved thousands because the watch model was a couple of years old.

I am originally from San Diego, and visit family fairly often... I think Fashionphile is in Carlsbad if I remember correctly? Def worth a peek! Thanks for the suggestion! I am in Boston and was even thinking about NYC TRR, but I am not a huge fan of NYC... Great idea on FP!

Thank you!
It's funny I was just having this conversation with my girlfriend whose daughter lives in Canada and we were talking about Monclear and Canada Goose Jackets and how much less expensive it is to buy the there due to the exhange rate. Great call! Hadn't even considered it for a Rolex! Def worth the visit! Thank you!
