Where to buy 3.5 carat pear diamond?

I'm wanting to sell my 2 carat round halo diamond ring and move up to a 3.5 carat pear.

Just wondering where you would recommend for purchasing a lovely pear? I don't need the highest quality (current stone is I, S12 and I love it!).

I'm in Australia if that makes a difference

You might try to trade up your 2ct diamond?
3.5ct BTW is hard to find.
And the size jump makes color and inclusions easier to see, so what you have now - if it was nearly twice the carat weigh might not be as appealing?

I would like to trade my diamond towards the upgrade but I honestly don't know where to start. Especially here in Australia.

I totally agree with you about the inclusions being more obvious and I would definitely need to see the stone in person. Funnily enough, I actually don't mind being able to see some sort of small inclusion because I feel like it's a way of easily identifying my diamond (in case of repair, clean, alterations etc) but wouldn't want anything immediately obvious

Unfortunately not. It’s spectacular but post divorce I need to sell her to fund kids education etc. I’ll attach some pics! I do have a thread in the sale forum too

I do have an offer. But my problem is sending it there (cannot get it insured from where I am). I am waiting for my niece to travel to the US so she can ship it to whoever I may have an offer from at the time.

I would love to see more pics of your ring!! Not sure where about you are in the US but I have close family who travel to NY and Florida regularly.

The ring is 90/10 platinum/iridium as VC suggested I do. With 0.51ct single cut melee in the band and surrounding the pear to keep in line with the antique feel.7CB4F470-E75A-42E8-8FDB-DD17930C749F.png
