Which pendant for my mom - gold & teeny diamond edition :)

I posted another thread recently about searching for a pendant for my mom, who never buys nice things for herself !

I was looking for pearls, but have determined I don't have the right budget , so I would rather save for another time. However, she also loves solid yellow gold pieces, and I have upped my budget a little.

She really doesn't have that much jewelry, so I am looking for versatile : day + dressy.

I worry about a heart shape for some reason. I love the shape of this heart though. I realize the diamond is tiny, so I am worried it is "pointless money".

I'm not upping my budget any more , but I do want to get this right .

(Also, I think she would appreciate a brand name , which is why I am going this route)

As I mentioned previously also, only UK brands, because of huge import taxes !!

I like the second, abstract pendant more than the heart. The design seems more grown-up, and the diamond is larger to boot. What a lovely gesture you are doing for your mother. I am sure she will be quite touched!

Hi,
did you notice that neither purchase includes a chain?
So that price is just for the pendant- rather overpriced in my books.
The first heart is pretty but a .03 diamond is literally the size of a pin head so you’d hardly see it. They give a pendant size of that of 12 x11mm, so thats pretty tiny, a fraction over 1 cm X 1 cm.
The second one is better but at 395 pounds, but again no chain, that’s a bit too much. No size details but I presume it’s also a tiny size.
Hmmmmm, and showing photos of the pendant on a chain when a chain isn’t included! Thumbs down.
They always look bigger and better in the photos and that can be a bit misleading if you don’t check the details.
Have a look at this.
This is eBay UK, they are in the UK and a business seller. For 399 pounds this is a .30 carat diamond AND a chain. Item no is 184800251699.
Seller is fine-diamond with 5,958 feedback, 100% positive. They have a range of difference styles and diamond carat and gold carat.
