Which sapphire do you think better?

Can you please provide some opinion which sapphire stone do you think better? Thanks,

Both are from Dana. Both are from Sri Lanka.
A: 2.66 carat, Vs2 slight inclusion at girdle, Cushion Modified Mixed Cut, intense blue with secondary purple slight, a little solid inclusion at the girdle, None treatment per AGL report

They are both beautiful. The smaller one has better saturation/more blue to my eyes than the bigger one but has more extinction/half and half. If I had to choose between the 2, I would go for the bigger one.

I think it depends a lot on your personal taste - do you prefer darker stones or the periwinkle of the round?

Exactly what lady disdain said! It comes down to your preference. My personal taste is the darker blue and since the inclusion is near the girdle it should not very obvious. However if big is beautiful to you, go for the larger / lighter stone. Get the one which you like!

The cushion is the "better" stone overall IMO; however, I see a lot to like about them both. They're really very different stones. I would keep them both, lol...but I'm a gemstone hoarder

I am not seeing any half shadowing on the smaller cushion. Given the better colouration and it being eye clean from the top, it would be my pick between the two. The round also looks a bit sleepy but some people like that characteristic.

Preference for color is very personal. I personally prefer the cushion as it has a deeper more saturated color.
