Which veil?

Hello, I am still trying to decide which veil would go with my dress better. It is so hard! I''ve nailed it down to two, one with the beading edge and the plain one. Here is a link to my dress:

I like the beaded one, I just don''t know if it would go well with my dress or not... Also, there''s a matching shawl that came with the dress (which also has some beading), which I don''t know if I should wear with the veil to walk down the isle or not. I might just have the shawl on for the reception, but I haven''t decided yet.

I''d do the beaded. It has more oomph, and the beading would look lovely with that dress!

I voted for beading. I think the beading is subtle enough that it won''t take anything away from your gorgeous dress. In fact I think it complements the dress nicely!

I am a huge fan of beaded anyway, so that's what I voted for. But I have to say that your dress is absolutely LOVELY!! Very stunning (I think)...in a very simple way. (And by simple, I mean that you don't have tons of beading or embellishments or ruffles/bows/lace, etc. ) So, saying that...I think EITHER one you choose will be beautiful. I can understand why you'd like the plain one...as it will allow your dress to stand out more on its own and will sort of make the veil seem more like a part of the gown, as opposed to standing out apart from it. (I say this in looking at the bottom of the dress' hem and how it has the gauzy type of material there, which I think would be very similar to the bottom of the plain cathedral length veil). However, I also don't think the beading would detract from the dress at all because it, too, is very simple and not overly ornate.

Good luck!! Please let us know what you think! Also, a word of advice would be to see if you could find 2 veils similar to the ones you're looking at that you can try on with your dress. Is that a possibility? It's ALWAYS better to see it in person than to have to visualize and guess.

Thank you all for your input! I am leaning towards the beading myself after I read your comments. But I think I will try ones similar to the ones up here. I will let you all know when I decide!

I love your dress...but I''m not fond of either of the veils.

I think you need a finished edge and I would like more random beading.
