Which would you get?

So, I think I've narrowed it down to two different pairs of studs, and I'm not sure what to go with:

- 1.18 TCW, H color, SI clarity 5.3mm
- 1.23 TCW, I color, VS2 clarity, 5.15mm

The 1.18ct pair is $105 more than the 1.23ct pair.

I'm not color sensitive, but I do care about sparkle and size so I'm feeling very torn. I've seen videos of both, and I like them both from the videos. I'm drawn towards the first pair because it has a bigger spread, but I'm also not sure if it's big enough to really make a visual difference from the second pair and thus, not sure if it's worth the additional cost. I realize it's only a $105 difference, but I also have a tendency to fall down a slippery slope of "it's only $xxx more, well this other one is only $xxx more than that, etc.", and before I know it, I'm paying several hundreds more that where I started, so I'm really trying to be mindful of even small price differences. That being said, I'd be willing to pay $105 more if it's worth it. Would the 0.15mm difference between the two actually be visible? On the other hand, maybe the higher clarity is a plus point for the second pair, despite the somewhat smaller size?

What do you all think would be best?

Imo 0.15mm is not really a meaningful difference (at least to my eyes). I would probably go for the second pair all else being equal.

Thanks! That's kind of what I thought, but I wasn't sure if a 0.15 mm difference is really visible or now. I did a lot of Google-ing and putting in specs in DiamondDb, but I even with all that, I have such a hard time discerning these things. Appreciate your response!

I think at this size smaller increments are more noticeable.

I would probably go with the bigger 1.18.

I'd prefer the H color because I personally can see a visual difference, and on me the H would be brighter against my very pale skin tone.

Unless... I didn't like the particular inclusions in that pair.

No question for me… I would go with the higher color for sure.
