https://loupetroop.com/listings/ban...d-bow-ring-with-warm-omc-diamond-size-7-dot-5
I fell in love with this super fun vintage ring before I really thought about how I'd be able to size it down for my size 4 fingers. Sadly, I think it's better suited for someone who doesn't have to do quite as much work on it. It has a 6 prong set Old Mine Cut diamond of approximately .20 ct with a color and clarity grading of K-I1. That is the grading I received from the antique jeweler who sold it to me, and my guess is that it might be warmer than a K. The diamond faces up white in certain light conditions and sometimes shows a champagne color which is quite lovely with the yellow gold. It has lots of life and sparkle and the inclusions are well placed. The diamond is much older than the rest of the ring, which seems to me like someone in the 50s or 60s took a diamond from their grandmother and had it set in a current style setting. I really love thinking about the stories that could be behind these pieces. It is marked inside with 2 letters and 14 C (probably British or European origin), and is a finger size of 7.5. The top is 7.35mm wide and from the side view the shank meets the top in a really pretty arched shape. It has a shiny finish and solid gold underside which feels super comfortable when worn. It has some light surface scratches to the finish, but they do not detract from its beauty and could easily be polished up by your jeweler. It sits up off the finger approximately. 6.6mm to the top of each how edge. It weighs a substantial 4.97 grams, however the bow part of the ring is hollow and there are some dents present on the top of the bow. Some of the prongs are a bit misshapen but the diamond is secure. This ring can be sized by your local jeweler, but because of the width of the top of the ring, I would not recommend sizing it smaller than a size 5.5 or 6.
