White arrows from H&A scope

Hi

I am taking images of diamonds, but I dont want black arrows to appear. I notice that when using the H&A scope, arrows will be white.
Are the arrows always be white? What is the principle behind?

Actually is it possible to have an image of a completely white diamond without any dark shadow inside the diamond for example using an integrating sphere?

That is normal.

It is the Ideal Scope that will make arrows appear dark, or your camera lens.

If you check out "Show Me The Bling" there are many shots where the arrows look white. There is also a photography guide pinned at the top.

My last camera was silver and I never had a problem. I made a mistake and bought a dark gray camera this time without thinking, so now I have that color reflection in my diamond pictures! People get around that by using an index card and cutting a hole for the lens and attaching it to the front of the camera!

Arrows are basically obstruction and will reflect whatever is right in front of them.

I am using small diamonds of each 1.5 mm in diameter. I have a Navitar Zoom 6000 placed about 92 mm away the diamond(inside an integrating sphere) with a magnification of around 6X. I have a diamond which happened to have dark arrows and I placed a white paper with a small hole of 3 mm in diameter in front of the camera. The image was blurry though the dark arrows were gone. However a slightly larger hole lost the effect. What can I do?

1. photoshop
2. telephoto lens
3. one-way mirror or silvered/treated mirror w/ transmission at different wavelengths, or regular mirror - you should be able to get an angle mostly face-up wherein you avoid most the reflection w/ the extra degree of freedom
4. glass mirroring surface + polarizer + diffuser to get the stone super bright face-up..?
5. take multiple images and stitch them together
