#TBT Whiteflash Color Me Mine Necklace in Sapphire

So, my Whiteflash sapphires-by-the-yard-style neckalce has arrived! It's beautiful! WF gave me an 18k white gold chain as the 14k isn't available, and they also sent me a voucher for a massage at Elements in Belmont.

The necklace is super-stunning. The sapphires look different in varied lighting. In sunlight, they look really blue.

I have three medical appointments today so won't have time to post pics, but they're coming in the next few days!

I don't think I'm ever going to take it off! I adore sapphires, and these are not that dark navy blue - they are a beautiful true-blue.

Glamour shots! These are with the 14k diamond-cut chain, which was substituted for the 18k cable chain.

See how beautiful and blue the stones are? They look a little darker than this on the neck out of the light, but when the light hits them they shine a brilliant blue:

Specs: This is five 0.13 AA sapphires on a 16-inch 1mm 18k white gold cable chain. The stones start 4 inches from each side of the clasp and are spaced at 2-inch intervals.

Yes, it was lovely of WF to give me a massage certificate. And to upgrade the chain from 14k to 18k so I could have the look I wanted. I offered to pay the difference, which showed up on the invoice as $150.00, but they said no, I could have it free of charge.

Enerchi - yes, I really adore it. I feel as if I've been waiting for a necklace like this! I strongly gravitate towards sapphires, as mid-blue really suits me. I think I'm going to wear and wear this...

Neck shots tomorrow morning, hopefully! The sapphires look great in the morning sun. You know how diamonds sparkle when the light catches them? These stones glow an amazing blue fire. I'll try to capture that when I photograph it!

Many of the pictures have come out showing the stones as darker than they really are. They're a beautiful blue.
