I'm seriously thinking of getting the ring they call Lilly, but having it made as a 3-stone. What do you think of the idea? Does anyone here have a Lilly that I can see pics of? Thank you. :wavey: :wavey:

This is obviously just the WF photo. I think it could look lovely as a 3-stone ring - it all depends on the proportions of the stones used. Are you thinking of using diamonds or colored stones for the sides?

The 3 stone bypass design was very popular in the 80s and 90s. I think there are lots of ebay listings to give you an idea of how it would look. If you're going for a modern architectural look, how about this WF design?

That's an interesting ring, but it doesn't really sing to me. I already like the Lilly ring much better than a normal 'bypass' ring. I'm looking on ebay like you suggested, even saw a couple I like. Not that I'd ever buy one of those. If Zals calls the stone an I-2 I can only imagine how bad it really is! :errrr: :errrr:

. Double post.

That's yours? Wow, it's beautiful!  May I ask the specs of the stone?

Alas, it's not mine. I had to look up the lilly setting, and thought I'd post the WF photo for reference.

Obviously not suggesting you'd buy those :o. Just for overall look as I don't remember seeing bypass designs in SMTB. Although, if the price and dimensions work, maybe just buy for setting and chuck the ugly stones.

I didn't think you were!

In reality, I think by the time I get the setting and get WF to put those stone in it, I'll have spent as much $$$ and won't have the same quality. I'm really hoping someone here has a Lilly, or can photochop it into a 3-stone.
