Whiteflash X-Prong Tennis Bracelet question

I have a 9 CT tennis bracelet, semi-bezel set that I'm thinking about resetting. Originally, the bracelet was 14 YG. I had it rhodium plated and of course, that has since worn off. Instead of replating, maybe it's time to reset the diamonds. I do like this Whiteflash design. But it appears to "sit up, higher" than most. Do you think this X design would be suitable for everyday wear? I was somewhat concerned it might catch on things. I wear my tennis bracelet next to my watch. But not everyday. Any thoughts?
WF pics below - sorry

I'd suggest reaching out to Whiteflash and asking them about the setting, its height, and what custom options are available. Perhaps they could tweak it in various ways that would eliminate your concerns.

thank you. I might just make an appt and go in to see it.

I have been interested in the X setting too, but decided against it because I was worried about how high up it sat too

Ann, what did you decide? I didn’t see this when you posted it, but WF has many other 4 prong setting options besides that one. Hopefully you’ve already found that out!

Hi - I reached out to them and never heard back. I am local to them so I should just make an appt and go in.

Are you are talking about resetting your stones in a WF setting? I could be wrong but this doesn't sound like typical WF
work. They mostly only work with their stones from what I've seen. I have seen them set a customer-owned stone into
a 3 stone where the side diamonds were ACAs. Anyhow, just FYI...You might look at Stuller and perhaps ask David Klass
if he can do the job.

Here is one on stuller to get you started...there are otheres

Well, @tyty333 has a point. I am not sure they'd do it, either, now that I think about it. But any local jeweler with a good bench should be able to show you setting options that they can order and reset your stones.

thank you. Yes, I was afraid this might be the case. Maybe that is why they never responded to my email. I will start researching settings.

I'd actually choose a jeweler first. Then let them show you options from their suppliers. You could try a jeweler such as ID Jewelry for this if you don't know anyone local. Lots of people get tennis bracelets from IDJ, so they can show you the settings they can order.
