Hey All!

I am on the hunt for a Large Pear, ideally 3 carats plus- looking for a 13x 9mm spread, I am also open to a light yellow, not necessarily a FLY, but something I can play up as yellow... Budget is $30K, can this be done?

I originally sourced my current diamond from Mark T, I haven't approached him yet, I also haven't decided if I want to use my current OMB to upgrade though him (I would need to spend 100% of my original diamond, which isn't a problem). Honestly, upgrading through him would save quite a big chunk, just not sure if I am ready to part with my original diamond?

What do you all think of these two? And is there a Jeweler I should be consider to help me source?

Thank you!

I cannot give you a name, but I can suggest that any diamond vendor that understands the value of cut can search and disqualify the failures out of hand for you.

This cannot be done by the numbers on a report, but must be done by looking at the diamonds and striking those with obvious problems, such as nasty blackish bow ties.

For such a search as this, you most likely will be wanting to deal with vendors who think enough of the diamonds they see to have actually purchased them, rather than depending on someone being able to vet their lists of thousands and thousands of virtual diamonds to find what you are looking for.

Good luck!

I would suggest that you contact Diamonds By Lauren. He has lots of pears and also specializes in alphabet yellows.

I know nothing about diamonds or gemstones, other than my own research. That being said, I absolutely love the color and spark of that yellow diamond!!!

Fellow pear lover here!
As a vendor, I can't comment on stones posted....but as a general question....
J color versus Fancy Light Yellow.....apples and oranges?

Yes, two totally different animals, I agree... but I am torn between a white or FLY... I have a J now, and love the creaminess of it.
