BF and I were talking the other day. He''s been crashing with me for a few months while he gets his finances in order and trying to find a job. We were talking about how excited we both are for him to move out and get a dog and everything, and then he dropped a BIG shocker on me.

"You know, I think I''ll be ready to move in together way sooner than I thought. I''d probably be good actually moving in together in about 6 months."

Now, that''s a lot quicker than the 1.5 years we had planned on. But I''m feeling almost the same way. I could do another year on my own (mostly because I had 2 months before he moved in and I''ve been in my apartment 5 months tomorrow) and really am getting antsy to have my own place back. But I think I''ll really miss having him around and want to move in together.

I''m excited!

goodie. i am happy if you are happy! living together is a good thing

Ummm...I hate to break it to you...but, you''re already very much living together.

"Crashing" IMO is like a week, two weeks tops. But 3 months? Thats a "living together" situation.

So next time he says "I think I''ll be ready"...share with him that you "know he is, because he has been living with you"

However, it''s okay to want to reown your space for awhile, too.

Lol at Italia, because she''s right.

Still though, fantastico for moving in together! Yay!

Oh, I know he''s living with me. But he''s set a date. November 1st, and he''s out. Woohoo! I guess I mean "living together permanently". Both of us went into this knowing it could be long, but that it was temporary.

But it''s exciting to hear him say he''ll be ready to do the big, official, permanent move in thing. I guess living together showed him that it''s not actually that scary, and it won''t suddenly make me clingy.

Yay!

Great news! Living together is great, but so is living alone. Glad you''ll have some more of both before settling down permanently.
