Why does this H-I OEC look grey?

I'm trying to educate myself on indicators of winning OECs, and have been spending a lot of time browsing Ebay/Etsy. Sometimes, I come across a stone that looks reasonably well cut, but something looks off in the colour. Here's an example of a stone that doesn't read H-I level bright to me:

Is this just a matter of bad photos? My standards may be skewed by vendors like JbG who post in vibrant settings. Or, is this the mark of a poorly cut OEC?

The stone is clearly not cape or yellowish tinted - nor brownish - so i expect your on the money.
Also it is a grading in the setting - hence the H-I.
So this is an appraisal not a diamond grading report from GSL in Toronto.
They are not likley to be overly strict - AND I could not see the doc.
