Wedding is six weeks away and I am seconding guessing everything except my fiance! My hair and makeup peeps (just switched to 2 new people), brooch (have 3 now), shoes (have 2 now), earrings (yep, you guessed it - 2 pair), my something blue (now I have panties with my new "Mrs." name and a stupid expensive blue garter) and even my dress!!! I think my dress looks/feels cheap now but I can't afford Monique, Vera, Amsale, Reem, etc. and we are just eloping on the beach anyway! I wish I'd snap out of it before I get a new credit card just to buy a new dress!!!

If we were having a "full-on" wedding, I think I'd have to take some valium - I seriously don't know how you girls do it.

Anyone else second guessing everything??? It's so annoying. Could it be from getting off the pill?? Geesssh!!!!

I''m sorry you''re second guessing everything. Yea, it''s probably from getting off the pill! I know the pill and I don''t get along...side effects for me include weight gain so it can be worse hehe

I''m sure everything looks fantastic! You need to snap out of it before things get out of control! You don''t want to plan two weddings with your indecisiveness...and NO a wedding dress does not necessarily look cheap if it''s not one of the high end designers! Hey, what matters is you''re getting married to the man of your dreams and everything else is just extra

don''t go maxing out your cards because you''re having buyers'' remorse or you''re having hormonal issues!!! Everything you''ve chosen will turn out great, don''t worry. My best advice would be to stay away from websites where you''ll find yourself comparing what you''ve chosen to what other people have, although I know that isn''t easy! TG I didn''t know about PS when I got married or else I would''ve been a very indecisive bride. Just try to remember why you chose what you did and stop second-guessing yourself, easier said than done, I know, but you are down to crunch time and why stress out about things that don''t NEED to be changed at this point, ya know? Best of luck to you, relax and enjoy these next six weeks, they will FLY by!

Have you had any Chocolate lately?

I would try some Godiva for an appetizer...followed by starbucks chocolate mocha ice cream, or some chunky monkey (chunky monkey has a way with making you see clearer...anything made from monkeys has that affect on you) and then I would pop a few malt balls. Step back, breathe...and see if things aren''t clearer. I think they will be.

I think you will realize that all the work you have done and all the time you have in making decisions is just that. Time spent but now the task is done. Is it possible that you aren''t second guessing...you are just coming down from months of planning and now that it is all done...you have nothing to do but second guess?

You are eloping...to a warm deliteful beach in Maui....you and your betrothed. Now that all the decisions are made...all you have to do is relax...enjoy the excitement and anticipation. Trust yourself. Your decisions were right then...they will be perfect for you on the 14th of August.

Thanks so much girls... I know - I MUST CHILL!!! You''re right, I''m looking at way too many knot bio''s! All this anxiety stems from my first dress fitting the other day. My dress is huge!!! I started crying and the seamstress is like "I just took a dress from a size 14 to a size 2. Taking yours from a 12 to a 9 is going to be easy". It''s just hard because there are so many choices with everything.

okay... I feel better now. Thanks

Good for you for venting here, sometimes you need to put it in writing to gain some perspective and it sounds like you did just that. Your dress will turn out beautifully, I''m sure. I had to have mine altered a couple times and even again the night before my wedding (thank goodness my mom is proficient with a needle and thread!), I lost a lot of weight due to being ill the week of the wedding. Keep up your good attitude and think positive!

Okay... couldn't help myself. Went to a bridal store today and walked out with another dress. But this is "THE ONE". I love it. The sales associate at the salon picked it out for me. I would have never tried it on had she not suggested it. It's ivory and I bought this amazing Amy Kushcell sash to go with it. The sash cost more than the dress!!! Sash is a very rich light rosey pink. I'm excited again!!! yay!! Dress is a little big so needs to be altered a bit overall - I'll get new pics after. SA suggested that the top be made into a sweetheart... not sure about this. it looks so clean as is.

If anyone is looking for the alfred angelo style 1614 in white with a white sash, let me know. never worn or altered - tried on once. paid a little over $700 sacrifice $400. Thanks!

I can send pics or you can go to http://www.alfredangelo.com and plug the number 1614 into the style finder on the bottom right of the home page to get all the info on the dress.

Thanks!

Hi all,
