A week or two ago, I agreed to play basketball with my BF, so yesterday we went to play, even though I wasn''t that eager. I was pretty good when I was younger, but I hadn''t played in years. We decided to just play a game of horse, since there was no way I was going to take him one one-on-one. He decided it''d be fun to bet on the game and said if he won I''d have to cook every day for two weeks (usually we alternate who cooks since he''s really good.) I agreed but told him if I won, I wanted my ring within a month. I was mostly just joking since I didn''t think there was any way I would win, but I did! So, he''s getting my ring by March 1st!!! Yay!!!

LOL! I never thought he''d agree to it and I still can''t believe I won. Honestly, I think he may have let me win, which is really sweet.

I have been back and forth on the ring for weeks now and this forum has been a lot of help. I''ve wanted everything from a 3-stone to a solitaire and from a princess to a cushion cut. I''ve finally decided on a radiant cut with a white gold band with round, pave set diamonds.

Thanks everyone! I am so excited!!! Now I just have to wait for him to do it!

Sounds fantastic XChick03!!! Now that is some super fast progress --- you must give all us LIWs your secret technique for getting the ball rolling (no pun intended!).

He''s got the ring!!!

Apparently, he''s already had it set and appraised because he showed me the AGS cert and told me it appraised for twice what he paid. I hated to burst his bubble, but I told him that was pretty normal. I just can''t believe he''s got it and he''s had it since Saturday! He also said it was the most beautiful diamond he''s ever seen in person, which isn''t saying a whole lot, but still!
