Woooooo I just picked up my band.... It is simply beautiful!!

However, I need help.... I have never worn a shared prong band and wonder if it may to big... It is very uncomfortable between my fingers ;( I love the look but am not sure if this is a normally feeling when you first get a shared prong band... TELL ME PLEASE

I think I will get use to it but have big but boney fingers... 5.25

They did a great job, and it looks perfect with your other rings.

Do you think my band is too big ????

OH WOOOOOO!! It is fabulous! Over the top incredible. I have been up all night waiting...IT IS SUBERB!! I want to sit and stare at your photos...but...

You won''t believe there is a huge lightening storm...I have to log offfff.........OH pooo.....hope the pics will wait on me!

DKS

please shoot me some profiles

Huh ... interesting! First of all ... LOVE the new rings!! So chic! It worries me a bit that you find the shared prong uncomfie. Hopefully you''ll get used to it??

As to whether the shared prong is too big ... is it the same size as the solitaire, just TALLER/WIDER? Not by much though if it is -- many people who have the solitaire + shared prong face similar SLIGHT difference in "height" or something.

STRANGELY your channel set band seems LOWER SET than the shared prong even though the stones are larger. Have you tried that out SOLO with your solitaire? I''d be interested in how that looked. From the SIDE it looks nice. And the only rubbing that would occur would be metal on metal ... not DIAMOND on metal, which can cause damage even to platinum (which is soft but strong ... i.e., pressure or rubbing will just move the metal around into a divet/scratch etc... not wear AWAY any metal)

I think *someone* around here had a shared prong band made by Whiteflash that was designed not to hit the solitare head at all. Super low-set shared prong?? But maybe I''m mis-remembering.

Someone ELSE wrote in yesterday to complain about scratches from a shared prong hitting her solitaire head -- & said that she hadn''t noticed at first and now all sides of the solitaire are worn down. WITH THAT IN MIND -- you might want to designate an "up side" to the ring and a "down side" -- to keep all wear on one side -- and the top side shiny & new!

I probably would wear your plain PLT band in between since you say your shared prong rubs on your prongs. I have no idea if it is too big by just seeing the photos. Can you shake it off? I heard some people find shared prongs uncomfortable. I think it depends on the setting (how high the profile is).

whoo hoo~! it looks great.
i don''t care for both bands WITH the e-ring. but, i do LOVE all three w-bands together sans e-ring. love that.
i surprisingly like the chanel set with the e-ring. didn''t think it''d be my thing, but i like it.
that said, i like ALL of the bands separately with the e-ring (one w-band with e-ring). they ALL work with it.

i found my shared prong band uncomfy when i first got it to. i''m use to it now but i was worried about it in the beginning. it sorta nicked my fingers on the side of it at first. i don''t even notice the band now. my little fingers toughened up or something.

Oh wow!!! That is stunning! I need a drool emote! Haha gotta love the shot with all your rings stacked

I think it looks great with the platinum band in between!

Woo JCrow, thank you! The ring seems to fit it is just very prongy between my fingers... The knife edge set is soooo comfortable that this makes it feel kinda sharp... My channel set is so comfortable I barely know I have it on :) ..... Maybe I should wear it for a could of days and see if I get use to it.... I am surprised I like the channel set with it too... Didn''t think I would.

I think it looks lovely. Try wearing it for a few days and see if you get used to it. I also love the channel set band with it. I have a shared prong etenity band, it was a tad uncomfortable at first but got used to it pretty quickly. As far as rubbing on the prongs, mine did that as well. I don''t wear it as much as I used to.

Thanks Kaleigh... I was worried that the I may not wear it if doesn''t feel better.... I will give a fair shot.... I love the look of the ring so much

Pretty woo!!!!! I love the look of your shared prong and don''t think it''s too big at ALL! But it shouldn''t be so uncomfortable. WF made mine sit low and finished the prongs very smooth so it wouldn''t be scratchy b/t my fingers. It is SUPER comfy already and I''ve only had it less than 24 hours (and I don''t sleep in my rings so I''ve really only worn it for several hours). WF also protected the girdles of my stones with a tiny bit of extra metal so it wouldn''t scratch up my ering so much. Of course, your stones are a little larger in the band, so maybe that makes it a little taller too.

Maybe you can have them finish the prongs a little smoother to make it more comfortable? It is gorgeous though! And I agree--I like just one band at a time with the ering (which is amazing in itself!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Yanno ... I *do* really like the channel set band with yr e-ring solo. Your stone is big enough to "work". It''s a clean BOLD look. Blingy and classic. WOO-ray!!

I also ADORE the three bands together, kinda Jen Garner style. (With the tish-bit-taller shared prong in the middle).

Don''t LOVE LOVE the three band combos with your e-ring AS MUCH. But I''m sure it''s fun to play around with and I''d probably do it too if I had ALL THOSE BANDS to choose from!

Another piece of good news -- if you DO mix & match a lot ... any "wear" caused by the shared prong worn right up next to the e-ring will be minimized over time. It''s like the old "rotating shoes so they don''t wear out so fast" philosophy.

All in all, a fan-frickin-tastic UPGRADE in my book. WOO-OOO-peeee!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Thank you!!!! I am definately going to wear it and see if I get use to it... WOOOOOOOO I am loving

Wow, it looks great!
I liked the first combo the best: Ering, plain band, shared prong band. That looked the best to my eyes. The shared prong does not look good with the Ering by itself IMO. The next best looking was the channel set with the Ering -- looked good as well.

I also really liked all three bands (no Ering) stacked together... makes me want to get some stacking bands

You will get used to how the shared prong feels. I had a band that was only a 1/2 shared prong, but when it would turn on my finger I would feel it rub. After about 2 weeks I never noticed it anymore.

Congrats again!

Congrats Woobug! I''m in love with that stacked bands shot!

Woo Poshpepper... thank you for the sweet comments... I don''t like the shared prong alone with my ering either... Doesn''t look as good as Jenn or Katiedid''s do.....The plain band in the middle helps it stay in place...

Woo Decode...thank you !!! I am kind of liking the channel set better than the shared prong. It seems to blend better... I do love the stacked look but wonder if it is worth keeping the shared prong just to stack with or if I should see if Whiteflash can do something a little more comfortable... I am not backsliding..... I LOVE THE ENTIRE THING :) hehehehe

Katiedid, I love how your eterntiy looks like it doesn''t hang way off the side like mine does.. I do like the bigger stones but am worried about it... I may have to do what you did... This ring wasn''t cheap...was alot more to do custome??

Ditto! I agree with jcrow.

I also found my shared prong eternity band a little uncomfortable when I first started wearing it. Give it some time and you''ll most likely get used to it.

As far as the shared prong rubbing your prongs, mine does that too. Even if your ering is platinum, some metal can get rubbed out. I make sure to wear my ering facing the same way all the time. One prong has a tiny indentation now and I think once it reaches a certain point, no more metal is rubbed off.

Thanks Sneely.... How do your rings sit so close together... mine wont... That''s wonder if I should have it sized down some... Can you show pictures of yours from the side... :)
