Would welcome input from owners of AV Asscher Moissanite Gems

Hi,
I am looking at August Vintage Moissanite in Asscher cut for a special ring project. I have given up on my MMD search because the prices are outrageous and cut quality is questionable. I would love to hear from any happy owners of an AV moissanite Asscher. I already own one of Jonathan’s cushion cuts and love it. Because I want a big assch (9.5 or 10 mm)and the $$ amount is substantial, I would appreciate thoughts/observations from members who already have one, of any carat size.
Are you pleased with the cut quality or do you think it looks a bit flat in comparison to a diamond? I don’t mind flashes of color at all. I’m just trying to avoid buying something that I will have to return and create more work for Jonathan or Vicki if I don’t love it when I see it IRL. The pictures and video on the website are TDF!

I tried to look at the video but it made me a bit motion sick. It looks like a gorgeous stone but blue tint is not what I had in mind. Thanks for your response. I was hoping to hear from PS members who actually have an AV Asscher cut, or perhaps an EC. They must all be on holiday. Happy 4th!

There are several emerald cuts on the August Vintage thread. At least 3 that I can think of (mamabean, sirenagirl and I think makingthegrade). You might want to flip through the pages backwards. I don’t recall seeing anyone with Asscher cuts yet.

I found the AV thread and read everything. I even added my own AV square cushion to the thread. You’re right about the lack of Asscher cut posts. I cant believe nobody has purchased one . More likely , the buyers aren't on PS? Mamabean’s EC is gorgeous. EC were always my first love for a ring. That may be what I end up ordering after all.

DEF I love emerald cuts to be really white...I actually like all cuts other than OEC’s to be really white..

I already have a nice collection of rings ,so can’t justify the price of a diamond for this project. Your ring is gorgeous and your EC is one of the stones that gave me the idea of going with moissanite
for my own EC. I agree with the DEF color choice. Yummy!

That is one lovely asscher! I am familiar with seller’s regret too. At least you know that you really love asscher cuts. Perhaps you will own another one in the future.
