I have this that needs a new home:





Currently holds 1.29, a shade over 7 mm, might work for a 1.5. Setting "Lynden" fern pattern by Sholdt.

I just looked at a few vendors who sell it. I. Gorman's price (for 18 K yellow gold) is $1975, Greenwich Jewelers is $1500, and Joe Escobar is $1015. That's a big spread and I wonder if the Escobar price is current. I was thinking about $700-800. It's size 7.5. Let me know what you think. It's a really pretty setting; the rows of milgrain are perfect. I like it so much I'm getting a bigger version custom made by Sholdt for a bigger stone.

Oh that's lovely what mm side does it hold? What finger size is it

Ring size is appr 7.5. however it is fully sizable, as enamel goes only halfway down the ring. I will measure the size of the stone as soon as I am home to be on the safe side

I have measured the stone with my calipers and unfortunately I have to confess that the stone is smaller than I thought. Stone is just above 6 mm. While I know that my jeweler was positiv about resetting my cushion that is a hair below 7 mm, I am afraid 1.5ct round will likely not fit. Sorry...

I had a feeling it wasn't quite the size. That's ok though thanks for thinking of me.

I've got one I found online were seeing if will for my stone. But in the event it doesn't please keep them coming. I'm grateful for anyone who has suggestions
