I did! It's a beautiful stone however way too saturated for my taste. I am new at picking out gemstones! I know almost nothing about them, other than I need a very hard stone that will last many years. I love a pale light blue, tiffany light blue, or a very light yellow sapphire/yellow gemstone. My dream ring would be this (not in diamonds, but with a gemstone in its place).

i just returned a stone to Peter Torraca that might fit the bill, light yellow/ green emerald cut chrysoberyl. not 2 ct but 5x7, good for daily wear, and a beautiful chartreuse color




broke my little heart to return it.

Niel - sad to see that beautiful chrysoberyl being returned to Peter after all you went through to find it! That said, I thought it was smaller than 2ct, wasn't it?

Yeah like I said its not 2 ct but the price was such where it might be worth it. I bought it for less than 350, though I can't say he'd sell it again for the price. Could leave you a lot for a fabulous setting, depending on your budget.
