The grading cert is IGI...is that a relatively recognized lab like GIA?

No, I wouldn't consider anything but AGS and GIA, personally.

Ya I am only going for GIA or AGS graded stones.

I wish I came across a deal like the one Phoenix had a little bit ago. Those were some gorgeous stones at a good price. I will keep on looking and if you guys come across something, please share!

It depends a lot on who you ask...............personally, I'd rather have a stone that *I* thought was beautiful not based on someone else's opinion. Plus, a stone could always be sent to GIA if it really was a concern. It's a gorgeous stone, but to each their own.

Did you look at the videos of the JA stone? It has an ugly black blob inclusion right in the center!

Second one, no picture or other images of the stone and it has a 60 table. I'd pass. You really have other better choices already posted in the other thread, in my opinion. The JA video ought to show why we recommend only pursuing stones with images provided. :))

Looking for the biggest stone for around 20k and I can't decide on anything !!!

Btw , I MSG ERD for that ring Neil has a link on here - mark said he has it in his office. What do I want to know about it ?!

Is it well cut? was he able to get you the GIA number?

It does belong here as I do believe he still would prefer to get a nice deal second hand, but no one seems to be selling at the moment :sick:
