I am very interested in a Mrs box, but my favorite colors are all gone. If anyone is "over" theirs, do let me know!

Thanks

If you buy one of the newer colors you might be able to trade with someone in a color you like...

I just ordered Huguenot, and thinking of one more maybe Starling. What are the retired colors you are interested in that would help people know what you are looking for...

Thanks for posting. Yeah, i was thinking i should list colors, but i didnt want to seem like im particular. Im really not, there are lots I like, but none of the ones available really appeal to me. I liked the alchemist but thats sold out, other than that they are too "springy" for my linking. A bit too powdery. I prefer the more saturated deeper colors.

The cobalt blue, orange, or emerald colors, but id consider lots of the old colors....

Id rather not get a yellow, i dont think, and probably not a pink, but again i dont want to automatically exclude any

Where do you buy the new ones?

Oh my gosh, I just searched for them! Are y'all telling me people are buying multiple ring boxes at $75.00 each?????

I bought one... No monogram and I would have purchased two but couldn't make up my mind! I think I'm waiting for the next batch of velvet to come in... :naughty:

I dont think PS is a place to judge how people spend their money lol.

Im thinking you might be right, Mayk, in your thinking... Ill probably wait until a new batch comes in.... other than that, i follow them on insta, ive noticed every so often they have sales posted there.

Wow, those are gorgeous. I had no idea they existed.

They are so beautiful. A brilliant stroke of genius with great marketing to boot! My thing is clutter and the last thing I would need - though would be awesome to have the different colors - is one ring box per ring, lol. BUT if they ever decide to make ring boxes in that gorgeous velvet large enough to hold a cadre of rings, I am in, sign me up (though I would tear my hair out trying to pick just one color)!

Gosh these boxes are lovely - I'd never heard of them before so had to check out their website - such gorgeous colors and I adore velvet - natch, one of the Starling boxes is flying its way to me this week ... so thank you for this WTB thread, Niel, and I wish you luck in finding a color that speaks to you!

haha sorry everyone, i dont mean to get you hooked on my addiction!

I have attempted to make my own velvet ring box, first stages are drying at the moment, ill report bank of i dont muck it up.

that should hold me until a color speaks to me.

Never heard of this but just checked out their website. Very pretty although none of the colors spoke to me either! I can see how this could become an addiction luckily for me I don't own many rings, just my engagement ring and wedding band.

I totally agree with you. I did get one because I couldn't resist, but when it arrived I felt that fairly they should have been around $35. However, the company has great marketing and exposure and making colors "unavailable" feeds the frenzy. I was signed up for certain colors and within MINUTES of getting the email, when I went to the site all the colors had sold out. I love my MrsBox, but ... really...

I am absolutely NOT judging anyone here for buying ring boxes! They are beautiful!

You said what I meant, Jimmianne..they are obviously drastically overpriced! $35 sounds more like it (still expensive but more worth it), so I'll wait until there is competition that makes the prices come down! Buying a few of those would dig into my jewelry budget!

I did not know these existed. HOLY BEAUTY! AND SH>> they are all sold out?!?!?!?!?!?!

I think these were once on the cover of Martha Stewart weddings (or something similar). I would eagerly trade my Graff box for one of these :(

^ they are not all sold out; but each color is a limited edition and your fav color may be sold out.

(And, as an update to my post above, I did receive my Starling Mrs. Box yesterday and I was less than impressed - something about the seam finish and the overall look/feel didn't measure up to my expectation so it is going back... I am glad I checked it out though)

Niel, how did your homemade box turn out? It is a really neat idea.

Oh, kind of terrible haha. I'm not crafty.
I broke a ring box in half, one from David klass, wrapped it up,then used sponge curlers for the inside

I like it. I'm tempted to try it myself. I like the pink velvet with your rings.

Thanks for sh aring! :wavey:

Oh how I adore you my friend. THAT is adorable! I love it.

I have to agree with this....For me, the quality did not measure up to the hype or the price point. I have found true vintage velvet boxes of better quality and make and for far less. The concept and colors are lovely though!

Niel: your homemade box may not be up to your standards, but I'm impressed. Great color, ingenuity and craftswomanship. Keep it up and Mrs Box may have their first real competition.

Niel, I love this! The Mrs Box jewelry boxes are adorable and great for one ring but many of us have more use for something that can hold multiple rings like this. Smart girl! :appl:
