Hey all,

Ok, so I've been wanting one of these for a bit now and even more after I went and tried one on at Cartier. So, I figured I'd post here to see if anyone has one for sale. I want the classic size (so not the skinny one) and I'm looking for a 56 or 57. I would prefer that the certificate accompany the sale but am willing to negotiate. I do want it to say either "Les Must Cartier" or just Cartier on the outside.

Anyone have one they're willing to part with? I've been trolling eBay and the one that fit my parameters I was out bid ;(

I have and I've thought of it....am still debating. Not sure if I want to go BN after drooling over Cartier, you know? Yes, I am a whiner, but as I was told as a child: this is a want not a need....so if nothing else, I can drool and troll...

I just wanted to tell you good luck *dust* in your search. I have the skinny trinity and I love it. I goes so well with everything.

ETA: I also trolled ebay for a while before I finally broke down and bought at a Cartier store. However, I'm not super confident using ebay, so the price difference was made up for in certainty.

:D I figure at worst case scenario I'll keep saving and suck it up and go into Cartier. :D Its just a matter of time. Yes, I WANT IT NOW! But, I won't die...so I can wait. ;) :D :D Thank you for the dust though! :D :D

:wavey: cozystitches! I am headed to Vegas on Sunday with my #2 son and the Cartier store is one place he is FULLY ADVISED we are going and will try on jewels and he WILL be taking pics! I've also lusted after the trinity rolling ring and hope to at least try it on... ya never know... it may not be as perfect IRL as it is in my mind..

(oh who am I kidding??? i'm still going to want it and try to rationalize why I must possess it! - if I can take pics I promise I'll post them!)

Enrichi! Please take pics! I want to live vicariously! :D :D Ok, so they feel amazing! I thought that Danny was a bitt off when he said his Cartier band was like buttah, but then I tried one on and yeah feels amazing! :D :D Have fun try on lots of stuff! :D

Hi Canuk Girl,

Thanks! Unfortunately, a 58 is too big for me. 56 is perfect and a 57 is a bit big (but can be worn on both hands)...now I'm wishing I'd tried on a 55 there are several of those online right now...sigh... Thank you for posting! :D :D :D

My experience buying my latest rolling ring in Paris--was outstanding. Everytime I wear the ring--I recall that wonderful experience. Worth every penny.

Good luck in your search.

cheers--Sharon

Ok, so my fantasy is going to Paris and buying either a Rolling Ring (unless I already have one) or the Rolling Bracelet. :D :D So, when I win the lotto (that I rarely ever play) that's one thing I'll do! :naughty:

Thanks, but I have large fingers....sigh, to wear a 51 I'd need serious finger lip.

Well that was pretty luxurious!! Tried on some trinity rings in the Cartier store at city centre / Crystals....ya....I think I need one now!!

Tried on the following three then took pics in the try on tray. Oh, they were so nice and not intimidating at all! DS was wonderful being the photographer on duty! Had the sales person cracked up laughing at me :D

Extra small (meaning the narrowest band at 2.9mm/ band) sells for $1000; original classic is $1495 and the 5 diamond / band was $3975 ( or was that $3795?!? I forgot between then and now....oops). He also said when you put it on, to set it flat first and make sure it forms a perfect circle, otherwise it won't roll properly. Hmmm, who knew!

Either way, they will ship in the iconic box with all the accoutrements that go w Cartier packaging and engrave for free within the first 3 months of purchase. I know these are not what you are looking for in terms of pricing from preloved, but hope these pics are helpful. These rings were a size 58 on my swollen holiday fingers. I asked for the translation from a size 8 to the European size and that was the sizing ring that fit...knowing when I am in my normal environment my hands won't feel like twice their diameter as they do here in Vegas.

Found one yet cozystitches?

Here they are in the tray! I thought of Danny when I was there...they really do just glide like silk over each other and have a beautiful feel to them.

:nono: Oh the torture!!! Thank you for taking the awesome pictures. Yes, I am leaning more toward buying new esp since I can get it engraved and all the guarantees! :D Sigh...unfortunately, it means that I'm not even half way to saving for enough yet! Its not like I've been to the Cartier site and put the size I want into the cart and went as far as to find out how much the taxes are (which would save me $30 from driving to my "local" 2hr drive store), nor have I emailed Cartier to see if I could get one child's name engraved per band... :saint: Nope, not me, I didn't do that  Hehehe

Thank you for the pictures I love them! Aren't they beautiful?!?!?! Ahhh....I did post on my FB status that I want one...rotflol :twirl:  not that it'll happen. BUT, as I keep saving, drip drip drip fills the bucket.

I loved your engraving idea so I asked about that- no cost and I asked as well, "even if their names are ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ?" Nope. No charge for any length of engraving per ring!! Told my DS about that- put each of my three children's full names per band and right away, he says, "shotgun on rose gold"!!!!

This may help my sales pitch with DH if son is in my side w a cool idea! So I owe a big thanks to you, cozystitches, if I get one!! :appl:

What sort of price point are you looking for?

Enrichi! The engraving idea wasn't my original idea, someone else here had the idea. :D I love it though!

Thing2of2: I saw that one...been watching it ;)

davi_el_mejor: To be honest, I'm looking at 60% off used with proper paperwork. I'd ideally like the box too, but I'm more looking for the paperwork to accompany the ring.

OK - Unfortunately the one I know of, is being offered by a curmudgeon of a man who has "retail" asking prices. The place he had his wife's collection appraised at gave him retail pricing and he won't budge from that. This guy had probably 50 pieces by Cartier, Tiffany, Hermes ect... All with original boxes (that his wife numbered :( )

He's sold about half to people who knew his wife and were willing to pay more than seconhand prices to honor her, but now he's stuck with a TON of stuff he can't sell at his asking prices and won't lower them :(

I hope you find your ring though :D

Bummer! Oh, well. :D Thanks for checking for me though and not laughing at my frugal pricepoint.

Have you checked with New York Estate Jewelers? I think their website is Israelie Rose. They always have the cartier rolling rings on there. And not everything is on their website so I would call and ask too.

I've checked a few times, but I may just call... :D

Its like one of the cheapest things in Cartier if that helps. A real bargain if you look at it that way lol!
