Hi all.

I am looking to buy my wife a pair of stud RB diamond earrings. White metal, and preferably from BGD or WF (or another PS-trusted vendor). However, if a trusted, longtime PS'er has a pair of OEC or similar round studs, that would also be an option, if that could get me a larger diameter in the stones.

I would probably prefer bezels, but am open to prongs. Ideal cut would be great, if the stones are MRB's, but OEC's with a great cut could also be an option.

I would like to get the most diameter, and ctw, for my money. Thus, I'd be fine with an eye-clean SI, and they need not be of incredibly high color (higher than J would be preferable though).

My budget is between $500-$1,000. But I could push it a tiny bit higher if it could buy me noticeably larger stones.

As an example, I really like the below (sold) BGD .70cttw posted by PSer asscherhalo_lover, which she sold for $1,000: http://diamondbistro.com/category/211/Earrings/listings/36521/70-cttw-BGD-diamond-bezel-earrings.html

I can be contacted via the following WTB posting on LT: http://loupetroop.com/listings/other/wtb-diamond-stud-earrings-white-metal

Thank you all for your time!

I recently bought studs at James Allen that I am happy with. Also several years ago got a great deal on eBay. Did a "pre-owned GIA" search, Took a chance and lucked out. Good Luck!

Thanks for your reply! I personally MUCH prefer buying a pre-owned piece, which is why I've come here first. However, I will use your advice and try to find a certed pair of studs on ebay. However, the only problem is that (1) I cannot search ebay while at work due to my work internet blockers; and (2) my ebay surfing skills are very limited! I will give it a shot though, and maybe create a RT thread to get some advice from the brilliant people there.
