I am especially interested in u-style settings or trellis, similar to the BGD 5 stone bands. I saw a post that Bright Ice bought one from another PSer and it was the perfect size with diamonds in the .40-.45 vicinity and Im kicking myself that I hadn't seen it, but I'm very open to options.

Thanks

Phoenix has her BGD trellis on sale on the JBEG website w/ larger stones that are > 0.5 ct each.

Thanks Mone2boys, I think I've seen it but that one was a bit beyond my price range if I am recalling the right one. I'll double check ... Thanks

Hi Mom2Boys - I did look at the 5 stone on JBEG as you suggested - man it's gorgeous, but it's also well beyond my price range but wow look at that finger coverage!!

I would be potentially interested in selling my five stone to do another project I've had on my mind.

A couple of years ago I upgraded all of the I colored stones in the ring so that they are all H or G (3 H's and 2 G's). They are all either SI1 or VS2 and eye clean to my eyes. The setting is made of platinum and it has held up beautifully. I *think* my ring design could be resized quite a bit if necessary, but best to ask WF to make sure.

Here's the original thread if you are interested, but keep in mind I've upgraded the stones since to all G/H's: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-wf-5-stone-u-shaped-amazing-wedding-band.54795/

If you are interested let me know and I can put up a listing or some way for you to contact me.

Hi Kcousolle, I do love your band - its beautiful. You can contact me through DB - I am JR0147 there and I should still have a princess band listed). I will need to know about resizing (I'm a 9 which is probably double yours!), and also your asking price? I am personally attracted to the look of graduating stones, but I think I can easily be attracted to the same size stones as well! Gorgeous.

Oooo. I'd be interested in the price you'd consider selling that band for as well if the op decides to pass.

I am very anxiously waiting to hear from Kcoursolle for further info :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl:

Sorry for the delayed response! I went out of town for work and haven't had a chance to contact you. I am going to give it some serious thought and I will contact you or starting a list on DB on Monday or Tuesday. Again, I'm so sorry for the delay!!!

Hi Kcoursolle, thanks for the update - looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Loveit, I tried to find your diamond band to email you on diamondbistro and I didn't see one listed by the username: JR0147. Can you link your band here and then I'll message you?

Hi kcoursolle - thanks for the contact. I think those listings expired, but I have some items on Loupe Troop at the moment - listing here ... http://loupetroop.com/users/JR0147

Hi Loveit, I was able to find your listing and saw that you are located in Australia. Unfortunately, I'm not comfortable shipping abroad since we are lacking affordable ways to insurance and track valuable international packages.

MakingTheGrade, are you located in the US? I would be open to selling. Current retail for a band with these specs would be about $5650. I would be willing to sell for 25% off retail at $4237.50.

The specs:
platinum
5 ACA Whiteflash diamonds that are dazzlers!
all AGS certified and I have the certs
.326 H VS2
.307 H SI1
.311 G VS2
.311 G VS2
.317 H SI1

They are all eye clean to my eyes.

Let me know if you are interested. I could ship the ring to WF and have them polish the platinum and check the ring over for you.

Thanks K!

Ironically, I just got an oec five stone that might hold me over a bit, we'll see, I think eventually I'll want something bigger and closer to your size stones. And also 4k is a bit out of budget at the moment, but I"ll definitely keep it in mind (holidays in 6 months, who knows?) and knock on your door if anything changes. Thanks for the info though!

K, can you tell me the mm measurement across the top of your ring? I don't know if I can even manage to squeeze .3s across my finger without rubbing on the adjacent ones. I *do* want a 5 stone to replace my very worn, antique wedding band though. :))

kcoursolle, I've lusted over your ring since joining PS! If only we could fast forward to May 2013....I'm going to convince DH that a 5 stone just like yours is a perfect way to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Yours would be soooo perfect. Perfect size for my finger too. Sigh...timing is everything.

Hi Justginger! From end of the diamond to the other end of the last diamond it's about 24mm across. The ring is currently a 4.25, but I'm probably more like a 3.75 or 4.0 right now after losing some weight and it fits across my finger just fine. As long as your ring size is about my size or larger you should be fine. 5 stone rings take a bit of getting used to in general, but after the first couple of days I found it quite comfortable.

Thanks Tigian! Yes timing is important, but so is money. Perhaps you could convince the hubs to buy early since you'll save money buying used and all? :naughty: Cheers!
