Hi Everyone,
I’m looking for a low cost temporary setting for my new 6.3mm diamond, specifically in Platinum Iridium alloy (vs Ruthenium/Platinum). My understanding is that PT900 or PT950 can be symbols, but in the case of PT950 shank might be marked somewhere with Irid, Iridium, etc.
Certain manufacturers like David Klass and Simon G and Michael B generally use Plat/Iridium, but others explicitly don’t.
I’m a size 5.25 ring size. I could replace a head or size down or up. I’d consider a higher price point for a more permanent setting, for example w pave.
Or, alternately, if you have seen anything suitable on eBay for example that you can point me to, I’d appreciate it.
