WTB: Platinum 6 prong solitaire mount for 1.5ct/7.5mm round

Throwing this out there in case anything has anything they'd be interested in selling, or if you have any leads.

I am looking to reset my 1.5ct round into a simple platinum solitaire, preferably 6 prong.

My favorite setting is Mark Morrell's Petite Torchiere, but i also like the looks of BGD's tapered Tiffany half round, Vatche Swan & Royal Crown just to give you an idea of what I like - but i'm open to anything.

I'll take a pic of the one I have and post it tonight. I have to figure out what size would fit into the head. I got a new setting for my stone and don't need this one anymore.

I currently have a Mark Morrell petite torchiere setting, that I may be interested in selling. Also have the matching diamond band. I loved it but later had my diamond re-set. My diamond is a 1.72 stone though. Don't know if your stone would work. You can look it up under my screen name. You will see the plain curved band, which I traded in to get the diamond one.

I don't know if my stone would work in this setting either (it would be great if it did!) - perhaps i should contact Mark and ask what he thinks, it would be great if he could do the work too. I forgot to mention that my ring size is 6.5, so i'm not sure how far we are off in size either.

I notice that the band you have is curved to fit the shape of the ring. Did you ever wear it with any different/straight bands? I was thinking of pairing this with an eternity band (10 pointers) and was wondering if you saw any issues with this.

My ring size is a 5.25. The ring itself sits low so whatever band will have to be low as well like a channel set. The matching band is bead set, you can look on Mark's website for pictures, as I don't believe I posted any with the new band. When I had it reset, the jeweler put in a CZ in the setting for me, so I could wear it if I wanted to.

Hmmm, mine held a 8.75mm, which would not be the right size for you I think. Sorry! The 1.72 setting sounds much better.

I have a 4 prong platinum Leon Mege setting that held a 7.6mm stone, just FYI or for others lurking.
