Hi there

hoping to turn my diamond into a pair of studs.

mine is 0.37 J SI, 4.50mm x 4.61mm x 2.70mm

I hoping to find a mate that is H-L (GIA), eyeclean and avg diameter of 4.5mm to 4.75mm

I've attached a pic of my diamond for faceting

might be interested if you have a pair of studs 0.8ctw for good price :)

eta I'm hoping to keep it under $500

I've been looking for a solo as well for a ring project with no luck. ;( That said, if you decide to part with yours and go for buying a set instead, I'd be interested in the one you have! Never hurts to ask, right?

it never hurts to ask!

sadly this stone is currently set in a bezel pendant, i was going to sacrifice the pendant for studs. if i can't find a good match I'll probably keep it as is

HP, have you tried Ebay? I've been looking for almost the same thing except slightly smaller and in higher color. Although I haven't found the right stone, I've definitely seen a few that might work for you. Can't link you up from work but I can try it later if you'd like.

whenever anyone calls me HP it makes me think of HP barbecue sauce :P

i have looked on ebay and found 1 promising stone good color clarity and faceting but its a little bit smaller than my stone which is a shame and its a little bit more than i want to spend. so really I'm being greedy for size and stingy on money

everything else I've seen on ebay is either the wrong color, size or faceting

Was the one you saw about 4.2mm and $500? I was going to link you one I found today but figured it was too small. If not, I can dig it back up for you. :D

thanks for thinking of me! 4.2 is smaller than i was hoping for. mine is avg 4.56mm so I'm hoping for the same or slightly bigger. I'm thinking about one on ebay now that is 4.75mm but its uncerted K I1 so probably lower in color and clarity than i would like

You might try looking at old pieces. I found quite a few rings, but they're not cert'd. I think that's where you'll run into issues. If you're willing to deal with a possible return, there's a lot more to work with. Good luck! :)
