I also posted a WTB for a precision cut but will would like to expand to rings as well. preferably light pink or blue but will consider any. preferably not in a halo setting. preferably not round but again will consider. will consider anything over 1.5 ct. under 1000 but again, will consider other if i loove it.

I have a pear shaped pink tourmaline ring but it does have a thin halo. And its tourmaline, not spinel, but I figured I'd mention it anyways since its pink and a non-round. Darn that sounds nice but I dont think it will work. Im having my e-ring made witha pear shaped diamond and a halo.... I dont want to look like the girl with pear halo rings

I have a very pretty 1.12 carat pear mahenge spinel that I had custom made. I don't really wear it much since I got my OEC and I think it does deserve to be worn. I know you said your e-ring was a pear with a halo but this pear is really on the opposite end of the spectrum. Let me know if you would like to see pics.

I have a white gold aquamarine ring that I could part with - it's a 3.6(ish) emerald cut unheated aqua, bezel-set with engraved vines going down the relatively thick shank. Let me know if you're interested in something like that.

how big of a pear and what metal is it it?

Hi Mrs. Taylor It's a fairly large pear, it measures 12.4 x 8.5mm and weighs 3.24 ct. It is precision cut and was purchased from the Gem Trader. The metal is white gold (14k). I really need to post some pics because I've decided I want to sell it for sure. I just have too many things not getting worn.

Here are a few crappy iPhone pics of the ring, it looks better in real life. I also attached a vendor pic. Sometimes it has a peachy tone to it and sometimes it seems to have a little bit of lavender in it. But mostly its baby pink to my eyes.

Haha thanks Mrs. Taylor and Enerchi! And no I never got around at posting any pics of this ring, I swear I am so slow at getting pics posted and then I end up forgetting (I have a spinel ring from Heart of Water that I bought a while ago that I still need to post too ).

Anyways, I know this ring won't work for Nielseel since she said she didn't want another pear but I thought I'd get a few pics up since I mentioned it earlier in the thread. I'll start my own thread here in a few days and my apologies again for the threadjack!

Would something like this interest you? It's not 2 carats, but is a precision cut spinel. 6.6 mm.
