WTB: VC Emilya Halo (single shank) OR similar (LM, SK etc)

Although I am sure I will be waiting a very looonnnng time,I would love to purchase a pre-loved round halo style like the Emilya Halo from Victor Canera, or something similar from Steven Kirsch, Leon Mege etc.

Preferably one that can accommodate an 8.01mm (2.15) or an 8.55mm (2.4) diamond (have two diamonds reserved, just need to pick one)

Just thought I would put some feelers out and see if this might help put someone over the edge to sell their setting and upgrade

And I would SO purchase the VC double shank Emilya, however, I just don't like the double shank style, I have a glittery wedding band already made and three bands + the halo would be way too much bling for me.


Anyways, here's hoping! Fingers crossed!

I purchased Frankiextah's preloved Emilya Halo last year and then sold the 2.30 carat diamond I had which fit it perfectly. It takes a stone around 8.50mms. It is currently in the US (I am in Australia) at Victor's and I have been debating if I should keep it and put an old cut in it, a new modern cut or a coloured stone. It is a small size 5 (just a whisker under a size 5) unless Victor has already resized it for me, I am a size 4.75. It is the most perfect halo I think I have ever seen and the ring that inspired a number of them on here..... Here are frankie's pics of it;

It's a single band not the split shank, in excellent condition, Frankie was fussy (you can confirm with her the ring belongs to me if you wish) and it has been cleaned and polished by Victor. I am sure he could set anything into it and resize it for you for a small fee - if you are interested contact me via my loupetroop listing;

Arkie, you should start your own thread and listing on this. I am a huge fan of Frankie's Emilya! I hope you can find a buyer soon!

Thanks so much for your willingness to help though!! I really appreciate! For reference all, I am a size 5.75/6, and VC doesn't recommend re-sizing MORE than a half size up for this particular design.

I will continue to wait and see if there are any others and if not, I'll just have one made. I got so excited too, as it was Frankie's ring and I know her attention to detail with hers is exactly what I wanted!

Oh well, I'll wait a bit longer and then contact VC!

I think it's really hard for you to #1, find an exact setting preloved. Then add #2, you need it for a specific size stone, and #3, specific size ring.

Frankie's ring was also being sold for nearer to retail price (by herself, not by Arkie.. that I don't know) than the discount most preowned pieces go for. If you can swing it, go for the real thing, brand new. Otherwise, I'm afraid you'll have to wait too long to get that baby on your finger where it belongs!

If you really can't swing retail of the Emilya, have you seen the ERD version? They do amazing work.

They're highly recommended by Charmy in her Guide to the "Harry Winston". I know you're not seeking the cushion style, so skip down to the bottom half of her guide. Exactly. I was SO bummed it couldn't be sized up to a 5.75-tight 6, and the fact that it's just a teeny tiny smidge away/a half size more from the acceptable sizing range VC recommends for this ring as hers was a tight 5.

But yea, the price wasn't so much the factor, in the overall sense of things, I was/am just hoping to get a little percentage off, I know Frankie sold hers for $3500 and I would be more than fine with paying that. Every dollar counts! But I think if I don't see any replies in a week, I'll go ahead and contact VC and have one made.

I am not desperate to get rid of it hence the higher price, but I priced it in line with the last one I saw for sale which was Sarahbear's from memory and slightly smaller than this ring....

If you don't find anything contact Victor directly, he is great to work with.
