Hey ladies! I am new around here and just wanted to say hi! I have been a ''lurker'' as it is called i guess, for about 5 months now. I have been a lady in waiting for about 2 years now.
Now for a little bit about my bf and i. I am 20 and he is 21. Yes we are young but our love is very strong! We both are very ready to make a lrger commitment to each other and soon!!! We will have been together for 4 years on November 22! YAY! He is going to be getting a job soon to be in the Special Weapons and Tactics Team, in other words known as the SWAT. yeah, i really dont like the idea just like any other lady wouldnt it does deal with lots of guns! but it is what truly makes him happy. Well he had some unexpected school problems to deal with so about half of the money that he had saved up for the engagement ring went towards that, which is kind of crappy but i completely understand. it is school and in the end a job and that makes the money.
i am out of school working and yet to decide which career of mine that i want to pursue in life. i was thinking about working in the cosmotology feild. i would like to be a nail techinician etc.
So he has to save up some more money before he will ask i guess. he really hasnt given me a timeline but he really really wants to ask me ASAP. which is exciting, right?
He is such a girl sometimes when it comes to this. he gets so excited about wanting to ask me. the sad thing is is that if he would have not had to pay for the school bills then he said that he would have gotten a ring by now and asked me. Which is sad because he could have asked!!
We are both living at home right now and although we could both support ourselves if we wanted to move out or live together, we feel that we should stay with our families because when we get engaged and married we will be living on our own and we both enjoy our families and want to spend as much time with them now as we can!
So when he will ask, i have no clue! But dont we all? He is hoping to ask as soon as he can so hopefully before the end of the year. Maybe it could be a holiday proposal? He just doesnt want to wait any longer and i agree! So here is to him and finding the right ring and asking me soon! Congrats to all of you ladies who are engaged and to those of you who arent i hope that we can share advice and give support to each other. I hope that you ladies can add me to the Ladies in Waiting list and help me out with anything that i need! It feels good to be getting closer and closer to the ring everyday!
