Hi Ladies. So the wedding this past Friday was a success! A few glitches along the way, but overall it was amazing- and best of all I''m finally married to the man I love! So, to thank you for all of your help along the way, here are a few non pro pics that friends and family have sent me. Enjoy.

The ceremony set-up.

This was our display of placecards. In case you''re in New England and looking for vendors, the placecards were designed by Design by Sophia and all of our flowers including the placecard bed were by Flowers by Semia. Both vendors were fabulous and really exceeded my expectations. Oh and our venue was Castle Hill Inn & Resort in Newport, RI. Everyone there was amazing to work with and the food is incredible.

Here was our cake. It was so moist and delicious that I ate two pieces. Some layers were chocolate with chocolate buttercream and ganache and the others were white cake with whipped cream and strawberries. It was made by Cappuccinos in Middletown, RI. The flowers were placed there by my florist though.

Here is a picture of the tables set up in the tent. We had a mixture of tall and short arrangements.

She''s building our anticipation....

Here are our placesettings. We had ivory pintuck table clothes, and green water glasses to dress them up a bit. Design by Sophia made the table numbers. I had her combine the table numbers and the menu and then placed them on little easels that I found at the Christmas Tree Shops. We gave our guests chocolate chip cookies from Paradise Bakery as our favor. DH loves chocolate chip cookies- and these happen to be our favorite ones. Apparently they made a great late night snack for many of our guests!

Wow, Sap, everything looks beautiful! Now where are the pictures of you??? Congratulations!

So in the meantime we were upstairs getting ready. Here are the girl''s bouquets.

I know I should wait for you to stop posting photos, but I can''t help myself -- I LOVE YOUR WEDDING! The colors, the setting, everything looks magnificent, and we haven''t even seen the happy B&G yet!! MORE!!

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!

You sure those are non-pro pics? They look straight from a magazine.
Your venue was to die for!

I must see more!

Unfortunately I don't have any pics yet of me getting ready- so I'll have to skip over that part for now. Here are the groomsmen and my DH waiting for the ceremony to begin.

ETA: The boys wore chocolate brown tuxes. We had ties made out of the same turquoise fabric as the dresses were made from. FI wore an apple green tie and the cufflinks I got him as his wedding present!

Gorgeous. I am using apple green, turq blue, cream, gold and a touch of chocolate brown for my son''s bar mitzvah and I love those colors so much! It all looks stunning.

And the bridesmaids waiting for me...

Here is me and my dad walking down the aisle. My dad has been battling brain cancer for the past few months so for a while we were unsure if he would even be around to walk me down the aisle. I thank God every day that he was- both of our dreams came true. Needless to say, it was very hard not to cry as he walked me down the aisle...

Here''s another one of my Dad and I. I was just so happy. My dress is by Paloma Blanca. I went for an outrageous cathederal length veil with lace on the bottom that matched the lace on the bodice fairly closely. While I normally don''t like pickups I fell in love with this dress because it was so floaty and romantic.

Here is our first kiss after we were married.

So we missed all of our cocktail hour because we went to the lighthouse on the property to take pics. Those pics were only taken by the photographer though so we will have to wait to see how they turned out. Here is our steel drummer during the cocktail hour. He put on a good show from what I heard but he was really awful to work with.

I don''t have too many pictures of the cocktail hour yet. Again, I''ll have to post those later. Here are a few of the reception. This is a closeup of the menu/table numbers that I was talking about earlier.

I am sorry about your father and hope he is okay. I am thrilled he was able to escort you. You look gorgeous by the way!

So as the evening went on and it got darker the lighting became more noticeable. The uplighting was an amber color during dinner and changed over to a turquoise shade as the dancing begin. We also had large lanterns set up outside so that the property would be better illuminated if people wanted to enjoy the view.
