Sold Yellow Oval Diamond

Hi All,
I’ve painfully listed my Fancy Intense oval diamond on LT. I’ve got 2 sentimental projects I’d like to complete that are more expensive than I had estimated plus my 3 stone AVC that is also in the works. The yellow hits the chopping block. The stone is currently loose & with David Klass which is very convenient if you want a custom setting. He’s hard to get a hold of so this is an added bonus. .

I need to add more pics but my laptop is at home & I’m at my brothers babysitting my niece & nephew. Although I don’t have that many cause the stone is with David.

I've been reducing the stone slowly. I think I'm still in shock it has to go. Even when you think you have smooth sailing ahead, there are invisible bumps slowing you down.
It's down to $3400. I'm welcome to conservative offers.

The setting will be going up for sale. The oval halo will hold an oval stone size range 7x5 - 8x6. When DK gets back to the office, I will ask for some pics. The ring is all platinum except for the head & prongs which is 18k yellow gold. Ring size is 6.25. I hate that I don't have pics to post but as soon as I do, I will post them. Price will be $2600. Ring is similar to this one on IG. I don't know who this ring belongs to but it is gorgeous. Gorgeous enough I had DK fabricate the style. Kudos to the owner.

The stone has been lowered in price. I'm willing to go for half shipping but most likely if being shipped in the US is cheaper than if I were to ship from Canada. Chances are I'd pay both shipping & insurance in this case. But send me an email & see what we can work out. It's a gorgeous stone. If I end up keeping it I think E-W would be a great way to set it. Here's a great chance at a yellow diamond.

I'm probably keeping the setting DK made. Stuller.com has some reasonably priced 2 tone settings (yellow seat & prongs) but white metal head & shank. Worth looking into.
