I was right and he did propose to me this morning!

We were horseback riding this morning with two women from the stable. We stopped about 45 minutes out and they said we could get down and walk around for a few minutes. We walked over to a little trail and went up a ways, then we stopped and talked a bit.

He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, then tried to put the ring on my middle finger.

laughed at him. I said yes, of course, then gave him a big hug and a kiss.

I am soooo happy!!

OMG!! Yay!! This is WONDERFUL news!! And I love that you kind of knew. He really did a great job (minus the middle finger part - hehe). Congrats darling!! I am so excited for you and your fiance!!

Surprisingly I wasn''t anxious at all. It just felt right. There was a bit of an awkward moment when I *knew* it was about to happen, but then I just started laughing and relaxed. I enjoyed every minute of the ride this morning and am so happy it happened that way.

The ride leader snapped a few photos as soon as we got back on our horses - I''ll try to post those this afternoon.
