And why?
And what would you serve at that dinner?
:)

Isaac Newton who by the time he turned 26 had discovered the laws of optics, motion, universal law of gravitation, and invented calculus. I'm curious about how one so young could think of questions (the queries in the back of his Optiks book) whose answers weren't discovered until long after his death. I would also not thank him in the most diplomatic of ways for inventing calculus because I'm dumb as a rock when it comes to math :mrgreen2:

Apologies to Da Vinci who was my 2nd number one choice and lost to the flip of a coin.

I would love to have one more meal with my late partner, to apologise for not spending more time with him when he was alive, and how much I had missed him, etc. etc...

He died of an accident and I did not have the chance to say goodbye or to tell him how much he meant to me.

DK :cry2:

I have so many I’d love to hug and talk with if only one more time more than any famous person. Though I would enjoy that too

If the guest could only be a human no contest. My grandma
I never got to say goodbye
And it hurts still

If I could choose furry babies honestly that would be my top choice

I love my grandma but my furry babies are my kids. Not all kids are human

The dilemma is which one if I could only choose one

I’d want to see them all

Sophie’s choice times 8 or so

Love these replies! @Matata I'd have chosen DaVinci - fascinating! I think Newton would be too smart for me and I'd just be sitting there, mouth agape. :lol-2: At least with DaVinci we could draw on napkins.
Aside from the obvious answer of my mom, since I miss terribly, I would love to have dinner with Bruce Springsteen! @Daisys and Diamonds Maybe I'll invite you! :kiss2:

HI:

Of course, my Dad who died a day before his 51 BD. Seems like I hardly knew him.

Winston Churchill for sure. What an evening that would be!

cheers--Sharon

Rasputin.
His eyes burned through every photograph I’ve seen of him.
BU T
Why did he have such a hold on everyone around him?
He was physically unattractive and supposedly stank to high heaven.
What was the fascination with him?
Was his BFF sugar coated or something?
I would love to match wits with him.

If Rasputin declines my invitation, I would choose the thing that called itself adolf hitler so I could poison it.

My dad.

Wow, that was my very first thought, and I must seem like such a daddy’s girl/daddy issues person because I’ve talked about him for so many years on this site. I just had a very good relationship with him, I promise!

Other than him, I would have dinner with Michelle Obama. I wouldn’t serve anything; I’d find her chef and consult with them to come up with something that would fit her fancy. And I’d wear J. Crew circa 2007-2009, giant bubble necklace and all.

I would have dinner with Michelle Obama

Her hubby was my second choice, but give that he and Springsteen are pals, maybe he would join us!?
