Your ideal diamond specs. Assuming you have a almost ideal (Not fully ideal 80%) diamond. What would you spec look like. Assuming you can see the aset images and symmetry, etc.

More brilliance? Balanced (Tolkowsky)? More Fire? etc.

Let the poll begin. State your reason.

It will be a bigger EC around 2ct, VS clarity, colour can be as low as G/H (my current 1.19ct EC is an E, VS1), the best cut that I can afford.

Alternatively, I would like an OEC of 2ct, with culet, does not need to be ideal cut, however, it needs to have big petals. Colour can be as low as I/J, VS clarity.

DK :))

Typically, I search for rounds with the following ranges so that I can narrow down a much bigger list then start assessing on a per-diamond basis:

Pavilion angle: 40.6-40.8°
Crown angle: 34.5-35.0°
Table width: 53-56%
Stars: around 50%
Lowers: 75-77%
Overall depth: about 61-62.5%

I allow for some flexibility with the above figures, as warranted.

I love stones with fat arrows. So either a smaller table and slightly deeper (55 table, 62+ depth), or 70% lowers, or both.
