Considering that this is for a right hand ring for a LNW (Lady Not Waiting), and that I''m going for size/spread over ideal, what is your opinion of this pear? WF says it''s eyeclean, strong flour but no issues with milkyness, 2 carat and great price - stats to follow:

Assuming the girdle is no more than slightly thick, the following is what the AGA/NAJA Cut Class grader can do for you. It may be a very nice diamond....probably is. What you see with the fluorescence needs to be checked, too. Go outside on a sunny day to give it the visual once over. If the polish and symmetry are better than GOOD there is no change in grade, so I used the lowest case.

The GIA says very good for polish and symmetry. The girdle description was thin-thick. Sounds like it''s a go for the price. Many thanks for your opinion.

Oh that would look lovely in a halo!

The thick girdle might knock the overall score to 2A. Slightly thick is a threshold border.

I have no expert opinion to offer you, but I thought I''d better stop just to mop up my droooool. ;)
