WTB Your pre-PS Diamond Cluster Earrings

Hi all

My sister is the maid of honor for my wedding, and I think I've come up with the perfect gift idea for her! She has a pair of costume jewelry studs that she's worn out since she bought them a year ago - the once rose colored base metal has turned black and the crystal is very cloudy looking now. I had the idea of replacing her beloved earrings with something a bit nicer. My budget isn't very high, just $300.

Does anyone have some diamond cluster stud earrings that perhaps they bought before they discovered PS and have been collecting dust in a back drawer that they'd like to sell? Obviously with my budget, I'm not expecting something amazing, but I think it would knock her socks off if the earrings were actual diamonds. For reference she lives in the midwest, and her only diamond jewelry is her engagement ring. Most people in her area buy jewelry from Kay/Zales.

I'm checking out Ebay, Ruby Lane and the like, but thought I'd put a post here in case someone is looking to sell!

I don't have any diamonds that could help but I just wanted to mention that the nordstrom brand NADRI makes these earrings, as well as similar styles, so if you wanted to find inspiration for the mountings, that's a great place to start looking.
