Please keep it - you won't find another like this.
I’m keeping it as is.Please keep it - you won't find another like this.
I'm waiting for these 3 beauties in the mail - antique ruby diamond pendant (1910s), pendant made from Victorian antique diamond stick pin, and snake ring dated 1889. The snake ring has never been modified and has all the hallmarks, including the date. I need to find someone to make it smaller with beads so I can save the hallmarks.
Wow!! These are all beautiful, great pieces.
I feel the same, about not wanting to destroy hallmarks.
I just found this thread and spent way too much time admiring all the amazing antique and vintage pieces! Here is the latest addition to my antique ring collection. It is very heavy, almost 17 grams and set with a 2ct antique cushion cut sapphire and 1.75cttw OEC diamonds. I’m curious if anyone can help date the gold content hallmark. It’s a sideways 14 inside a square. I’ve never seen a hallmark quite like it. There is no maker’s mark or any other hallmarks.
