Polished Diamond Prices Stable in March
Polished diamond prices were stable in March supported by steady dealer trading even though the outlook for consumer demand remains uncertain.

The polished diamond price index for March was largely static, only registering a very slight increase and continuing the trend shown in February. The Index began the month at 123.8 and ended at 124.4

The main polishedprices index opened up 0.7% compared to the previous Monday at 122.9 points. The overall index is 7.3% lower than this time last year, and has gained 0.1% since the start of the year.
