I have just had one of my rings valued for an insurance policy and it seems to date my ring differently from the jeweller I purchased it from. The centre stone is transition cut diamond and was sold as an art deco platinum ring but the valuation (from another reputable antique jeweller) dates it at circa 1910 which would make it edwardian.
I love my ring and it wouldn't make me like it any less if it was edwardian but it does bother me that I don't know which era it is from! Can anyone help - what do you think?
