Ok--story time for the bracelet!



Starting in the middle and then going counter-clockwise:

#1 has to be the glorious pearl that started this whole journey. Purchased in Jan, 2022 from the amazing @katbran. It started this entire idea of a "favorite things" bracelet.

#2 is from @molinePDG. I always knew these 2 would be at the center of this project. It's the most glorious gold pearl I've ever seen and has cool unique overtones.

#3 a truly one-of-a-kind unicorn pearl from one of the pearl paradise live shows with edison pearls

#4 is a pair of blue akoya from Takahashi

#5 is an edison from Uodora (I highly recommend them, BTW. They'll take individual pics of the pearls, but obviously make sure you understand that they take it in the most flattering light).

#6 is a tahitian from DruzyDesign on ebay.

#7 & 11 are a pair of edisons from Cees

#8 is a pair from CMW pearls

#9 is another edison from Uodora

#10 is a super colorful circle tahitian from pearl paradise (Hisano has a great eye for complementary colors)

#12 is another unicorn of an edison from the PP live show. I only planned to buy #3 from the show, but then saw this one and couldn't help myself.

#13 is a sea of cortez pearl from the lovely @yssie



I haven't taken it off since I got it and am beyond happy.

Story time for the extender coming tomorrow (probably)!

For fun I tried to calculate how much I spent on this piece over the past 26 months. Was shocked to find its at least 7k, probably closer to 8k (eeeek!)

So I don't recommend this route to help with budget lol.


BUT! I have 4 pieces in 1:

1. Bracelet
2. Bracelet + extender as necklace
3. I have gold filled paperclip chains on the way so I can wear the bracelet alone + chain as a necklace.
4. Extender + paperclip chain as necklace.

So I'm telling myself that I got multiple pieces in order to justify how much I've spent.

Haha I refuse to do the math on my pearl horde all I can say is I still find it worth it. I’m surprised by how beautiful pearls are every time I see them.
