I wanted a truly special ring for my Mother''s ring, something to pass down to my daughter some day. I had seen a design online and knew I wanted it. I began with Gary at Finewater, having him cut an amazing asscher aquamarine. With my asscher in hand I contacted various people. The response was either they would not work with my stones or the price was much to high. I had seen many posts about BGD and thought I would contact them and see what they could do. I was soooo glad to hear they would use my stones and the price was exactly what I was looking for. I was not worried about quality, as I had seen their work in the many posts here on Pricescope. Leslie and Brian informed me that we would need to make some small changes in the design so that we would not be infringing on copyright and I was fine with that. Needless to say I gathered my diamonds and my asscher and safely packaged them for the trip to BGD. Leslie and Brian were amazing, keeping me informed all throughout the process sending me emails and pictures. So now you see the amazingly beautiful work of art they created for me.
The only problem is, my daughter is 11 and she wants the ring now!!!!

Thank you Junebug, I have gotten so many compliments from people already. Especially the lady at Fedex as I ripped the box open in front of her.

Oh my.... that is gorgeous! Truly a one-of-a-kind stunner!

Wear it in good health!

Thanks VRBeauty, I just can''t stop staring at it. I am trying to get hand shots but my camera isn''t so hot.

I''ve seen band rings like that, but not with a gorgeous asscher! It''s definitely an heirloom piece, and I can''t get over how perfect that milgrain is!!

That is one gorgeous ring. I really love the color of that aquamarine.

Brian and Leslie do amazing things with jewelry. I wish I were as talented.

Gary cuts beautiful gems, I have him keeping an eye out for some peridot next.

Wow, it''s gorgeous! Can''t wait to see hand pics!

WOW! It''s so beautiful! I have never seen a band ring like that with such a breathtaking center stone - or any stone, for that matter. It''s gorgeous!

It's big, 11mm across so I have to get used to wearing something large, however it's not an everyday ring, that's for sure.
I just can't get over the workmanship.

Wow!!!!

LOL! I''m sure the FedEx people have their own PS stories!

What a gorgeous ring. I can''t get over the exquisite craftsmanship. Congratulations on your future heirloom. It''s a beauty.

Autumngems, that is simply the most amazing ring I have ever seen. The amazing detail, gorgeous accompanying diamonds - that AQUA!!!! Holy moly, that is beyond museum quality, IMO!

Wow, nice ring! Can''t wait to see it on your hand!

Congratulations, that''s beautiful. More pics ?

Aquamarine is my birthstone and I''ve always loved it. This is the loveliest use of an aquamarine that I have ever seen. Beautiful design and craftsmanship! I can''t blame your daughter one bit for being so antsy to slip it onto her finger.

Woah. May I pretty please surgically remove the inner portion of your fabulous ring and wear it as a RHR?

I keep getting lost in the swirly diamond gorgeousness of it all.

Oh yeah, the aqua's not bad either.

In all seriousness, that is a gorgeous ring! Just stunning! And too funny about your daughter. Jewelry lovers start young.

Yikes and Holy Crap. I wasn''t expecting that when I clicked on the post. That setting is a work of art. I''m with Gecko... can I wear the center part as a RHR?

As for the rest of it... that Asscher IS TO FREAKING DIE FOR. WOW

. I''m on a Colored Stones ban for a while... but when I am back on the wagon (or am I on the wagon now, and off it when I... anyway) Garry is gonna be getting a call from me. I LOVE how octagonal it is. I can''t wait for handshots and for head on shots of that asscher.

The color on that Aqua is TDF as well. Overall, that is a stunning piece.
