Stats:
1.21 I SI1 Brian Gavin Signature H&A
The Making:
The Fiance (still so weird to hear) had no idea which way was up when he started looking for rings...we had looked at Pricescope together a few times, and I had warned him of the B&Ms and let him go. Being the research shopper he is he contacted Brian(the diamond man!) {via recommendation from a friend of mine...you guys may know her, Jamie, formally with Whiteflash, who was a coworker of mine while I was there}.Brian helped him pick a beautifully white diamond while Lesley & Brian helped him design this elegant split shank halo that is absolutely yummy!!
The fiance received such amazing personal service that he still cannot raving about that kind of attention during any purchase. From the Aset to the Idealscope and all the CAD pictures, he was so excited to show me the process (once I had my ring) that my new beauty went through to get here.
Proposal:
After a couple of months of hiding it.. he took me on a birthday trip to New York where he proposed at the Top of the Rock...which is absolutely breath taking...and scary. As we made our assent to the top we were watching our video in the elevator. As I was watching the educational video, I felt a nudge. At that point, fiance hands me a prescription bottle. (My sweetie is a Pharmacist) At that point, I was confused and thinking to myself, " What is this???" As I read the label, he had a personalized message typed that read "Kristin, will you marry me?" (He definitely gets an A+ for creativity...
Together we cannot thank Brian and Lesley enough for the professional and personal experience as well as the expertise of Brian showing my fiance the ropes of this wonderful diamond world and creating a diamond snob in the process...LOL We have this gorgeous sparkler that marks our momentous occasion of starting our new lives together. When I look down at my GORGEOUS ring I can see the love and hard work that was put into this amazing creation. Once again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you Brian & Lesley!!!!! We are deeeeeply honored to have it named as "The Kristin."
The WOW Factor
I continually find myself falling into a deep gaze at my beautiful ring throughout the day. It truly is an occupational hazard I must say myself...LOL We won't talk about driving with it on..... I'm sure you can all guess what it's like. Let's just say the roads of Houston have now become even more unstable, as if that's even imaginable....LOL All of my clients gaze at it and comment on how beautiful and stunning it is when they see it picking up the rays of light from our completely windowed office. Even on the plane ride back from New York I couldn't stop staring at it and watching it dance until fiance had to nudge me to snap me back to reality.....LOL I have to admit, on the subway in NY I was twirling my finger and gazing at my sparkler and then realized at one point, "Holy cow...I could so get mugged with this thing..." to which I hid my hands in my pocket until we made it safely back to the hotel where I knew she would be safe.
Without further ado, here is "my precious".......
