My X-Mas Gift - a BGD Reset!

I finally got my BGD reset on Christmas Eve!!! My original setting was supposed to be a Cartier 1895 pave solitaire inspired setting - but it had a lot of metal and was set too high for my taste. So I lurked and lurked trying to decide what I wanted to do. Then I saw the Novela on BGD''s blog and decided to take the plunge. Lesley was wonderful to work with, and even accommodated my last minute request for prong claws!!! I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a ring.

Since I am not a very well versed with using a digital camera for close shots, you''ll get the pro shots first!

The center is 1.31 F VS1, GIA Triple EX. I'm a size 6 1/4 ring size. I think the new setting really makes the diamond pop more and is really comfortable to wear!

The reset is gorgeous, I''ve seen Brian''s melee in real life and they sparkle like CRAZY.

Just curious, what do you call the setting style of the band on the ering? Is that considered pave? Prong set? Bead set?
