as some of you may have read, i decided to buy my niece a pair of earrings to wear when she gets married in June this year. sadly, she and her new fiance got badly ripped off when they bought their engagement ring and, altho she still ''quite likes it'', the shine has gone well and truly off it since looking around and comparing it to other, higher quality rings.
in an effort to put the smile back on her much loved face, i contacted the incomparable lesley harris at Brian Gavin Diamonds and talked to her about getting a special pair of earrings made. this was on february 2nd. exactly 16 days and 38 emails later, the earrings were shipped.
i just don''t know anyone who is a greater pleasure to work with or any company that produces such beautiful work so promptly. i was under the gun to get these done, and BGD really took on my time pressures with me and tried to work within my time frame every step of the way. in fact, along with my thanks for such a beautiful job well done goes my sincere apologies to lesley for bringing even more pressure into her already pressured life!
2 sets of photos were sent my way - both ''in production'' photos, and the gorgeous photos to follow. like some others here, i was giving the great honor of naming these earrings. i decided to call them the name i just couldn''t get past. so - with no further ado....
the ''Erin Gets Married'' earrings by BGD, with pearls from Pearl Paradise...
